Coast — Privacy Policy
Coast collects nothing. It has no account, no servers, no analytics, and no internet permission. Everything it does happens on your device and stays there.
Who we are
Coast is published by Rippleit LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States.
What Coast does
Coast scrolls short-form video feeds for you. When you turn it on and open YouTube Shorts, TikTok or Instagram Reels, it advances to the next video on its own, so you do not have to swipe.
Accessibility permission
Coast uses Android's Accessibility Service. This is the only mechanism Android provides for one app to perform a scroll gesture inside another app, which is the entire function of Coast. The permission is used for exactly two purposes:
- To recognise which feed is on screen. Coast checks whether the app in front is showing a short-video feed, so it does not scroll anything else.
- To perform the scroll. Coast sends a swipe gesture, the same as if you had swiped with your finger.
Screen content is examined in the device's memory at the moment it is needed and is immediately discarded. It is never written to storage, never logged, never sent anywhere, and never shown to us. Coast cannot read passwords, messages, or any other app's data in any persistent way, and nothing it sees leaves your phone.
Data we collect
None. Specifically, Coast does not collect, store, transmit, sell or share:
- personal information of any kind
- screen contents, screenshots or recordings
- usage analytics, crash reports or diagnostics
- device identifiers, advertising IDs or location
- the videos, accounts or apps you view
Coast is not granted the internet permission, so it is technically incapable of sending data off your device.
Your settings
The only thing Coast keeps is your own configuration — whether it is switched on, your chosen interval, and the "match video length" toggle. These stay on your device. Uninstalling Coast removes them permanently.
Third parties
Coast contains no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no trackers. No data is shared with anyone, because none is collected. YouTube, TikTok and Instagram are separate apps governed by their own privacy policies; Coast has no connection to those companies and no access to your accounts with them.
Children
Coast is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date above. Any change that materially affects your privacy will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
